Motive

I took a bioinformatics course last semester, and it was super interesting! My concern is that I’ll forget about everything now that the course has ended.

This series is an attempt to re-teach myself: a) bioinformatics, b) computer science, and most importantly, c) how to write.

If it teaches someone something new, then bonus points!

Methods

I’ll be studying bioinformatics algorithms, tying it in with my computer science knowledge, andfilling the gaps in my fundamentals while I’m at it. I'll work through things so that they are easy to digest and so that you can learn with me.

Reporting Mistakes

I'll do my best to be accurate and clear, but I'll get things wrong sometimes. I strongly encourage you to send me a message (through email, LinkedIn, X, anywhere you can find me) if you see that something’s wrong. To make things easy for you, I’ve built the site in a way that you can select a chunk of text and report directly to me!
